Wavy and crooked at 8'
I bought two of these to place above an 8' window. There's one support in the center but these come in like 5 pieces that screw together loosely. If the curtain is closed you don't notice how wavy the curtain rod appears because it doesn't screw together tightly/evenly, but when the curtain is opened it looks terrible and ugly. I'm thinking about just buying an 8' dowel rod from HD and painting it dark brown. The decorative ball on the end is nice and matches the furniture, so I may figure out a way to attach that to the dowel...
