Black is Where It's At
This lamp came with a white shade. As you can see, the black shade makes all the difference! It is beautiful and well made.

Exactly what I was looking for, an opaque black shade (no weird white background under the black). Pre-assembled (unlike a lot of the others I looked at online at other places), good quality, still allows light to shine well. Very happy with my purchase.
I also purchased the recommended harp size for it to go on, works well with my existing lamp base!
