Perfect size for my projects. I bought 3 lanterns all together. However I did not use them right away. They all worked when I tested them. I recently used one for a gift I was making and unfortunately one stopped working after about 5 minutes with fresh batteries. Another bummer was it cost $10 for shipping and the store is not close by to drive over there.

Don't hold by the loop. I held one by the loop and it fell off and the lantern shattered on the floor. But fine lantern for a cheap option out on my patio table.

These hang in the metal garden orbs in my tall urns in front of my house. 1of the candles quit working in the pair I had so I was glad to find a new pair with timer!
