Big mistake
These rugs, I purchased two, began to emit dust from them. The tag said do not wash. I set them over the outdoor railing and beat them. The dust continued to fall. I gave up and threw them in the wash. Afterwards, my brand new washer was chock full of rocks and dust. The seams came apart and the innards to securing the shag were deteriorating. Needless to say, I threw them in the trash. About 10 years ago I purchased the same sort of rug only it was round. I was able to wash it. I wish I kept THAT one. The new version is not impressive.

Great rug for our front door!
We have a very large rug with a pattern in our living room, so we needed a solid color rug for our front door entrance. Doesn't show dirt! I shake it versus vacuuming to keep it looking great.
