The design of the unit is different from both the display unit and what's shown on the box. It's also different from the identical product I purchased a few months ago. Returned because of the misleading product depiction.

This was a great surprise in quality. I was thinking I would get this to hold me over till I could find something else but this was exactly what I needed. The quality is great and it's so sturdy which is great for a 5yr old.

The box was heavy. So although the product is press board (MDF, I think), the frame is not flimsy. In addition to this, it has a low center of gravity (being that its width is about twice the size of its height). These attributes make the product relatively safer for my toddler (aside from potentially stubbing her toe on it). So it is what I had expected.
