Mr. Coffee Iced & Hot Coffee Maker

This idea of making iced coffee really has potential. Here are the pros: The coffee maker feels well made, with a slim profile and a very smart way to store your scoop. The scoop for your coffee has a small one for when you want a hot coffee and a larger side for when you need a concentrated hot coffee to pour over your tumbler full of ice. The tumbler is a perfect fit for the machine and well made. I like that the brew basket is easy to remove and clean. The coffee spout swivels out of the way. You can also easily see the water level when filling. Cons: I don't like that it's only made for one drink at a time. The basket is very hot afterwards so you either have to wait for it to cool down or carefully dump the old grounds to make a new cup of coffee. Also be careful when making the 2nd cup of coffee too soon, because when filling with more water steam shoots up at you. I learned that the hard way. Also, the machine will use all of 5je water you put in, so no way to add extra water before hand. So if you live alone then this is basically a one person hot coffee Brewer that is tall enough to accommodate your tall tumbler filled with ice. The brew head tries to soak all the coffee grounds but a lot of it goes to waste because its aimed right at the center like most all other coffee makers are. In conclusion, we enjoyed making the iced coffee but after trying it out came to the realization that we can do the same with any other coffee maker, be it a Pod or a pour over or even an espresso maker. Just brew it extra concentrated then add it to a tall glass with ice. Will still keep it when one of us wants to make an iced coffee and the other will just use another machine for the hot.

Upon getting this I was instantly attracted to the box it was bright, bold and attractive! Opening and set up was a breeze! The instructions were simple with no confusion. I ran it the first time as directed and it was perfect and so easy! This has made my mornings much easier and has helped me save money not buying energy drinks on the run or stopping for a coffee. This is a must have, especially if you had a different brand before and can't afford it, this is much more simple, easy to clean and get things going! Love this and it's price!

About a month ago, I bought this Mr. Coffee® Single-Serve Iced™ and Hot Coffee Maker with Reusable Tumbler and Coffee Filter. When I saw it, I couldn't help myself because we are avid coffee drinkers of hot and iced coffee; so I knew I had to grab this! It appears my daughter loves it even more; she uses it daily from the moment we unboxed it...LOL I love the sleek design of this machine and how it can sit in any area of my kitchen because it takes up less counter space. Mr. Coffee® Single-Serve Iced™ and Hot Coffee Maker come with a reusable coffee filter, tumbler, and one straw. The tumbler has two marks to measure markings for ice and water, which are critical points to creating a great-tasting cold coffee and a double-sided scoop for hot and iced. But hold on, you can store your double-sided scoop on the side of your unit when done with it...so no need to worry about where your scoop is! This Mr. Coffee machine is no different than any other traditional brewing machine. Again it will brew hot coffee like ordinary coffee makers, and it's just as easy to do, and yes, it is pod-free! Simply add water to the level marked on the tumbler to the machine, add a scoop of coffee grounds. Fill the tumbler with cubed ice to the marking on the tumbler and press the brew button on the side to make coffee. We found its brewing system chilled quickly, cooling the hot coffee over the ice fast while maximizing the flavor and not watering it down. Lex added her flavored creamer and VILOA; the iced coffee is ready. Taste depends on the coffee grounds, creamer selection. Since we love Starbucks so much, I can't wait for us to try out their creamers. Most of all, we will be saving money, there will be less waste, and no pods are needed...that's a plus within itself! I tell you, I enjoy drinking a freshly brewed cup of great-tasting coffee any day, but I really enjoy a great-tasting ice coffee, especially on a hot summer day. Again, the unit is straightforward to operate. Mr. Coffee recommends that the machine be unplugged when you're not using it before filling it up to prevent accidental brewing). Add water to your tumbler, fill it up to the water-mark, lift the lid on the coffeemaker, remove the filter housing, and pour it into the water container at the top of the coffeemaker. Replace the filter housing, place the ultra-durable, reusable coffee filter in the filter housing and add a scoop of your favorite coffee grounds. Close the lid. Take your tumbler, fill it up to the 'ice' line with ice, place it under the spout of the coffeemaker, plug in the machine, slide the 'drip stop' lever to the left, and press start. Viola, your coffee or ice coffee will be ready in minutes. Sit back, sip your coffee and enjoy!

This coffee machine is my new favorite kitchen item. I always start the early mornings with a hot coffee and then and iced one in the late morning, I love coffee, and this machine is perfect for that. Compact doesn't take up much room on the counter and easy to use. Came with lots of clear instructions. The tumbler it comes with is great as it also helps you measure the water needed to brew. No pods needed it comes with a reusable filter, or you can use paper filters, so not only do you control your strenghth it makes for easy clean up. Comes with a scoop clearly marked for the hot and cold side and has measurements on it, definitely my favorite feature. The scoop has its own special spot on the coffee maker to hold it in place, no misplacing or need to go searching for it. Switching in between hot and iced is as easy as a push of a button. The hot coffee comes out at perfect temp for me to drink right away. The shower head with the first few uses was releasing some air pressure at random like when refilling the reservoir with new water but as I've used it more it seems to let out the pressure better after it brews and not when I'm adding new water, did have to back up a little first few uses due to that steam coming out. I like to leave the top open after a brew to help with that and to dry the water condensation left behind. Will definitely continue using every day.

This is one of the best coffee machines I have ever owned. My husband would always go buy iced coffee at the local gas station because we didn't have a machine that made ice coffee and after a while it was getting expensive. Once he tried the Mr Coffee iced coffee I made him he loved it and hasn't been back to gas station. It's so easy to setup and it comes with a small recipe booklet with a variety of ice coffees. I love that it also brews hot coffee as well so you have the best of both worlds. The best thing is the machine doesn't take up any space at all.

This iced coffee maker is sooo easy to use and very convenient. From the reusable filter to the tumbler that's included, it is the best coffee maker I've had. It also make delicious hot coffee single cups for on the go. I highly recommend this for those that want to enjoy a freshly brewed hot or iced coffee.
