Pretty and seems to be well made.
I have purchased several of these, the 14" size in different colors. They are pretty and seem to be well made. The do have a bottom layer that catches the water, but there is no hole or entry at the bottom.

It's pretty & I was surprised that it was plastic, from a distance it looks like it's ceramic. I like that it has a holder in the bottom of the planter for extra water to run into. Good buy.
