Cat proof trash can!
This trash can is nice to look at, keeps the trash out of view and is cat proof. We have a cat who kept knocking down the plastic bin we were using. He leaves this one alone.

Nice trashcan
So far, it's been a great trashcan. The swivel lid spins at the slightest touch, and dirt doesn't seem to stick- easy to clean. Easy to put the bag in also, unlike my old can.

Not ideal to store inside a cabinet.
My number one reason I bought this is that I was tired of buying the plastic tall kitchen cans with matching plastic flip top. The lid where it would attach to the can would constantly snap off after changing the bags. I really like the swing top it is weighted so when throwing out items it flips back right side. Plus it's super easy to clean. This garbage bin was meant to go into our tall utility kitchen cabinet. I don't like garbage bins visible in a kitchen and my not so sneaky dog would always try to help himself. What I don't like is how cumbersome it is to remove the bin from the cabinet to change the bag. No handles or a lip to grab to pull it out from a cabinet. When you go to grab the top it will come right off. Sides are slippery stainless. Also the standard size tall kitchen garbage bag will fall right into the can if you put anything too heavy into the bag. I'm hoping that there is a bag size that fits better than your standard 13Gal tall kitchen bag size that I've always used. Once they run out I'll look for a bag for this type of can. If not I'm afraid I may need to return this bin.
