Design could be better
I've bought a lamp like this before and forgot it's not my favorite. I kept it though. I forgot that a standard bulb sticks up and out of the top. I haven't found a small bulb that stays completely hidden. I think the design could be better on these. When the lamp is right next to your face on a nightstand or side table, it's not fun staring at a bright bulb with no filter/barrier lol.
