Works for me!
I'm using this on a 70 inch window that has two pair of sheers on it. I open and close the sheers daily and the rod stays in place!

It did take a little time to tighten once up but the rod is sturdy.

I won't buy this product again.
This tension rod has no spring in it so it won't stay in place. We made it as long as possible to fit inside the window. We could barely get it in, but then in just falls down. Very disappointed!!!
