I was skeptical prior to burning for the first time but all of those reservations are gone. I love this thing. It smokes a bit as the fire initially gets going but then it's almost completely smokeless once the fire is roaring. I enjoy how compact it is to move around and for on the go purposes but boy does it burn hot when you're burning. I noticed that my clothes didn't smell like a bonfire either, which was pleasantly surprising. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and excited to put this thing to work during spring/summer/fall in Wisconsin.

Really getting to use it on my back deck now that winter might be over! I'd like to have the groove in the bottom a little deeper or higher, or whatever, so the top fits more securely into the base. a more secure unit.

The sooo stove Ranger works just as it should. I unboxed it today and Ian burning some seasoned cedar from some land we have put in the country. No need to buy expensive wood when you have lots of it laying around already. Works like a charm! Using it here at my home in the city but will be taking it out to the ranch on occasion.
